Our First Military Ball

Michael had a patroon formal ball for Christmas party we had to intend so for Christmas and for our anniversary Michael said i could get a dress made. So on the 18Th of December we got all dressed up Michael in his dress greens and had a fun night i felt like prom all over again just joking. I didn't know what to suspect being my first real military function but they had great food and live band and it was fun. Meant allot of new people that Michael worked with. Michael looked so handsome in his dress uniform.

Michael is into photos so he has taken our photo every year so this is our new picture this year he does a very good job and also our Friends in Korea Lindsey and Matt and their baby adin he took their Christmas pictures also Michael is very talented and has a heart for it I hope he keeps it up

First chirstmas in Korea

On December 6,2008 on the base they had their Christmas tree lighting we went to and it was so cold i had to call my mom that night to send me some long johns. and i got to wear my marshmallow jacket for the every first time. We brought our little tiny Christmas tree over my sister Michelle made for us out of coat hangers . Of course i had to get Michael some eggnog. Michael bought me a WII and I got him Mario cart a game for the WII also Michale got me a new digital camera and i told him for Christmas and his birthday next week we can go down to the big electronics market they have down by Seoul to get stuff so he can build his own computer. And Lilly got new toys.

First days in Korea

Well when I got to Korea I got to go see our apartment. It is a 3 bedroom 1 bath pretty roomy for the 3 of us. I have a pink sink and a pink toilet and a tan tub. We have 2 balcony's and we are on the 9Th floor. Our apartment is only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Camp Casey where Michael is stationed at . The heater was hard to figure out because it is all in Korean so we finally figured it out what it is the hot water runs under Ur floor to heat up the apartment so basically your feet are always warm. Also they don't have any ovens in Korea so good thing i brought my little conventional oven over. Our 2 shipments got to us and since we are on the 9 Th floor they have elevators trucks because the stuff wont fit in the regular elevators so they run Ur stuff up his big ramp to Ur patio.

FINDING OUT OUR FIRST DUTY STATIONED

Michael called me in July 28, 2008 at 6:00 am in the morning and he asked me if i was sitting down. I told him I was getting ready for work. So I told him just tell me where he is going. I was thinking somewhere in the states since he was so close to coming home from all his training, But nope he asked if i was ready for the news I said Germany he said nope sorry i was disappointed. Then finally he told me it was Korea. Korea I thought what i don't want to go to Korea. All i could think of is my mom is going to kill us. Because when Michael ask ed for my hand in marriage she told him he could not ever move me out of Arizona. Well so i got dressed and we did a 3 way call to Michael mom. Then I thought i needed to go tell my mom in person so i went to her work and told her and i balled like a baby. So Michael came home and packed up the house on September 12,2008 and he moved me in the studio behind his parents house. then our renter moved into our house because we could not sell it. Michael left for Korea on October 14, 2008 and was trying to get everything settled before I flew out with Lilly. Then Michael called and said he found an apartment and was ready for me to come. I got scared so that Sunday before i left I went out in my parents house and had dinner with my parents and Michelle and grandma hall and granny and uncle rusty and Shelby the dog and lucky Michelle dog and Lilly. I cried so much that night to say good bye to all of them. Then Monday morning the November 11,2008 my mother in law and i drove my car to California to put my car into storage. Then i got on my airplane at 12:10 am to fly out to Korea 14 hours later i got to Korea with Lilly and Michael meant us at the airport

MY ARMY MAN

On Jan 22, 2008 Michael left for basic training in Columbia, South Carolina. That morning My mother in law drove with me down town phoenix to watch Michael get sworn in to the army and watch him leave and say good bye. For the next 10 weeks we had to do old fashion letter writings i tried to write him at least once a week to give him support and when ever he got opportunity to call it was only like for 10 minutes but at least i got to hear his voice. Yes it was very hard at first i cried and was going nuts didn't want to be by my self i have never been alone before and i got though it with family support. On April 8 my mother in law flew with me to Michael boot camp graduation and we were there 3 days and we drove Michael to his A I T training in Georgia and he just graduated from A I T on July 3o, 2008 and he came home on Sep 12 2008 and for his first duty station WE are going to Korea . He and I are so excited and Michael fly out on Oct 14 to go to Korea and then i will follow 2 to 3 weeks later and we are hoping on getting sponsorship and if we get that my way will be payed for and we will be there 2 to 3 years right now it is a year and we are hoping to adopt over in Korea so please keep your fingers crossed for us and Michael is in listed for at least 5 years. I am so excited to see where our future holds.

LILLY

LILLY WAS MY CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR 2006 SHE CAME TO JOIN OUR FAMILY ON DEC 24TH 2006 SHE IS AN ENGLISH BULL DOG SHE IS MY ROCK SHE NEVER LEAVES MY SIDE SHE LOVES TO SUN BATHE OUT SIDE AND ROLE AROUND IN THE DIRT AND LOVES TO FLIRT WITH THE MOTORCYCLES DOWN MAIN ST GOING OUT FOR SUNDAY DINNER TO MOM AND DADS AND SHE IS GRANDPAS LITTLE GIRL.SHE IS MY ANGLE AND SHE IS SO SPOILED ALL SHE WANTS TO DO IS PLAY AND HAVE A GOOD TIME BUT SHELBY AND LUCKY NEVER WANT TO PLAY WITH HER SO SHE HAS TO FIND SOMEONE TO PLAY SO SHE ALWAYS GOES TO GRANDPA SOME DAYS I WISH I HAD MY LITTLE GIRL BACK WHERE I COULD HOLD HER FOR HOURS BUT NOW SHE IS 55 POUNDS TO HEAVY FOR ME SHE IS VERY STRONG AND AND DARING AND SHE IS A TYPICAL GIRL WHO LOVED HER BUBBLE BATHS AND TO BE PAMPERED SHE IS MY LITTLE GIRL
