MY ARMY MAN

On Jan 22, 2008 Michael left for basic training in Columbia, South Carolina. That morning My mother in law drove with me down town phoenix to watch Michael get sworn in to the army and watch him leave and say good bye. For the next 10 weeks we had to do old fashion letter writings i tried to write him at least once a week to give him support and when ever he got opportunity to call it was only like for 10 minutes but at least i got to hear his voice. Yes it was very hard at first i cried and was going nuts didn't want to be by my self i have never been alone before and i got though it with family support. On April 8 my mother in law flew with me to Michael boot camp graduation and we were there 3 days and we drove Michael to his A I T training in Georgia and he just graduated from A I T on July 3o, 2008 and he came home on Sep 12 2008 and for his first duty station WE are going to Korea . He and I are so excited and Michael fly out on Oct 14 to go to Korea and then i will follow 2 to 3 weeks later and we are hoping on getting sponsorship and if we get that my way will be payed for and we will be there 2 to 3 years right now it is a year and we are hoping to adopt over in Korea so please keep your fingers crossed for us and Michael is in listed for at least 5 years. I am so excited to see where our future holds.

LILLY WAS MY CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR 2006 SHE CAME TO JOIN OUR FAMILY ON DEC 24TH 2006 SHE IS AN ENGLISH BULL DOG SHE IS MY ROCK SHE NEVER LEAVES MY SIDE SHE LOVES TO SUN BATHE OUT SIDE AND ROLE AROUND IN THE DIRT AND LOVES TO FLIRT WITH THE MOTORCYCLES DOWN MAIN ST GOING OUT FOR SUNDAY DINNER TO MOM AND DADS AND SHE IS GRANDPAS LITTLE GIRL.SHE IS MY ANGLE AND SHE IS SO SPOILED ALL SHE WANTS TO DO IS PLAY AND HAVE A GOOD TIME BUT SHELBY AND LUCKY NEVER WANT TO PLAY WITH HER SO SHE HAS TO FIND SOMEONE TO PLAY SO SHE ALWAYS GOES TO GRANDPA SOME DAYS I WISH I HAD MY LITTLE GIRL BACK WHERE I COULD HOLD HER FOR HOURS BUT NOW SHE IS 55 POUNDS TO HEAVY FOR ME SHE IS VERY STRONG AND AND DARING AND SHE IS A TYPICAL GIRL WHO LOVED HER BUBBLE BATHS AND TO BE PAMPERED SHE IS MY LITTLE GIRL

How we got started

Michael and i meant though a young single adult program though the church. My friend kelli going on a date and needed a another couple to double with so i said (being daring) i would ask someone and double with them so 2 nights before the date i still didn't have a date so finally i said what about Michael so we had a large group playing volleyball after institute one night and i ask him if he would be my date he said sure. So for our first date we went quad riding and then out to dinner to chilies where Michael ate a awesome blossom and i ate chickens crispers and then we meant to the Saturday nite dance they had at the old 2ND st building behind the mesa temple. And then a week later michael asked this girl out for a date but she couldn't go so i was the (backup) date and we became so close and inseparable and one late nite we were texting on our phones till all our of the morning and i ask him what we were because if we were together i needed to cancel my date i had that Friday nite he answered me on a text saying would u be my girlfriend. I being stupid said yes on a text . and then he ask if i would like ot meet him family i said already he haven't even been going out a hour yet so the next nite i meant his parents and brothers and sisters not knowing they would be my future in laws next thing u know we were dating seriously for 2 weeks then Michael said he was going to the temple to pray about us i was so nervous for the whole day at work i thought seriously he was going to break up with me it was like 2 hours after i knew he was suppose to be done with the temple he never called yet not knowing he was at my dads work all dressed up still in his suit he called my mom and had her meet at my dads work and asking them for my hand in marriage and all the guys at my dads work was making so much fun of him how they just wanted to get him all dirty.Then the next day Saturday he went to this guy he knew over in phoenix know own a jewelry shop and designed my engagement ring and that nite we had a double date with my parents to go out for dinner and go to the book or Mormon movie but Michael called and he he could make dinner i was so mad at him and then he was late for the movie and i had to run out of the movie to give him his ticket not knowing he was in phoenix the whole time then after the movie ended i told him i would just see him in the morning cause it was after 1100 pm and i was tried and so mad at him for being late and he was going to go to church with us in the morning but he insisted to come over i said what ever and it was cold October nite 24 Th and i change into my PJ's and though my hair up into a pony tail and he told me to go out ot the back patio and lets talk so we sat on the swing and i was freezing i was wrapped in my blanket and he started talking about the moons and the stars and how they went on forever and eternity i ask him what in the heck are u talking about cause i didn't want to sit here i was cold and mad at him still then he slide of the bench making it swing so hard i almost flew out and then he got down ot one knee and ask me to marry him i said WHAT he ask again i said yes then he said hold on and he left me i was like where did he go he ran out to his car and brought back 2 dozen red roses and we went inside and i got my mom and dad out of bed and stared calling people i didn't care what time it was and then we got into my car and had to go tell to my close friends we knew was still up and went to the Saturday nite dance Kelli and Ammond and so excited and they were shocked . So wedding plans we moved fast we made a date for jan 16 2004 2 and a half months later and it was the happiness day of our lives so far.
