LILLYS FIRST SNOW

Well today Jan 16.2009 i woke up and went to take Lilly for her morning walk and it is snowing. Lilly did not know what to do she didn't walk to walk in it she took one step and shake her foot. Like it was too cold. I was laughing i had to pull her to the park behind our apartment. I had some Koreans laugh at me because i was carrying her back to the apartment because she wouldn't walk in the snow. Hopefully she gets better at it because i am not carrying her any more she is way to heavy 56 pounds to heavy.

OUR 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Today on Jan 16,2009 is our 5 year anniversary. Michael gets a 4 day weekend, Because it is martin Luther king weekend. So we are going to Seoul Korea and getting a hotel room and some shopping and go out for dinner. Our friends down stairs from us is going to take care of Lilly over night. I am so excited to go see some new sites of Korea. I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband, and yes it has always been the easiest, But you just have to work things out and move on. When we got married my Bishop ( Bishop Barney Jefferey ) gave us the best advise ever. He said " NEVER GO TO BED MAD " that is the best advise. Even though it is hard at times and him and I are both stubborn people, lately now we have been back together we always try to remember that. So thanks bishop. I just want My husband to know how much i love him and is really grateful for all he does for me. I am very proud of all he does and now to see him wearing that uniform with pride. I stand by him 100%. My man in uniform. Happy anniversary My love hope i have a million more. I LOVE YOU FOR EVER AND FOR ALWAYS your my best friend my eternal companion. I love you

Chirstmas 2008

This Christmas was so different not having our family around, But we manage for our first Christmas in Korea . My family kept asking us what we needed and all i said well gift cards would be hard to cash over over for "Won" that is what they call their money over here. So what my family did was give the money to mom and she put it in our bank account. I said make sure u tell me who gave so i could tell them thanks. So we had Friends here in Korea that was selling their stuff so they could pcs out and go back to the states. So mom said to use the Christmas money on stuff we needed to for our apartment. SO we bought their closets, a recliner chair, a small computer desk, and some shelves. So we got a good deal and thanks to all the family to helped us so i can have a closet to put my clothes in. Also on the 27Th of December Michael and i went snowboarding with a couple of friends to the high ski resort about 4 hours from us i didn't go snow boarding i walk ed around with my friend Lindsey while her husband Matt and Michael went snowboarding Michael had allot of fun but was sure sore after wards a couple of days from falling when i saw him after he was done snow boarding the back side of him was covered from head to toe in snow and ice he was funny. Thanks to everyone for making our first Christmas away nice. We wish we could have been around family and friends. But I am just so happy to spend the time together with my husband and make new friends, and remembering the true purpose of Christmas that Jesus was born and celebrate his birthday. Thanks to all my family and hope they know what they mean to us. We love them and miss them truly.
